Pūkeko
I don’t know what it is about pūkekos (called a swamphen in Australia) but they just bring me so much joy. They’re often just roaming around a water source with a few friends, they have this funny little call. I’m always so grateful for the interaction.
Location — this particular one was roaming around Matapouri, New Zealand.
