The Boat Shed
I waited patiently for this visit to come, wanted to have my first take on this iconic spot. At first, I didn't think that the weather was on my side, this happened on a day when Melbourne received 40ml of rain in less than 4 hours... January's average is 47ml for the month. Classic. But the rain panned out, yes, we had to change our outfits by the time we'd wrapped up, but we had the entire park to ourselves. Got to listen to the rain dropping on the water, watch leaves collapse under the weight of the droplets. It was pure magic and I am so grateful.
Location — Dandenong, Australia
All images are printed on archival Hahnemühle bamboo paper — a warm white, lightly textured paper that brings photographs to life!
All prints come unframed. For Mornington Peninsula and Melbourne locals, framing can be arranged. Please reach out through the contact button below.
