Canada, so far…

I’ve been in Canada for nearly six weeks, and geez, does it feel good to be home…

I know my opinion may seem biased, but if Canada isn’t on your list of places you would like to travel, it should be!

I have witnessed bears who are preparing for hibernation [unfortunately no luck with photos — yet!], deer coming into the nearby fields in the afternoon, squirrels who really are hilarious little animals, hundreds of geese and cranes who are starting to make their way south for the winter. If the wildlife isn’t convincing you, September brought warm days and cool nights, now October is putting on the most spectacular fall show with the leaves changing to all shades of yellow, orange, and red. Littering the ground, providing that satisfying crunch as you walk across them. There is a light dusting of snow on the Rockies, and the most dramatic morning fog a photographer could dream of!

At the end of the day, I am simply grateful to be here, at home, and I wanted to share a few photos with you. So we’ll keep this note short and sweet! See you all again soon…

* I should add that these are just a handful, I have hundreds of photos I haven’t even had a chance to look at. I will definitely be sharing more. Wish me luck!
